The Old Harmonium

Did you use a real harmonium to play this? Because if you did, that's amazing and you're amazing. If you didn't, you're still amazing, but you could have fooled me. I used to have a real, functional harmonium, which was awesome. It was lost in a hurricane though. But anyway, good stuff.

Thanks! I did use a real harmonium, you can see it in the stop-motion film I did this music for. But I just took samples from the harmonium and sequenced them in Fruity Loops. It is an Indian harmonium so you can't play with two hands as you need one hand to pump. And using samples it was easier to synchronise the music to the animation. I did actually improvise the melody on a electric piano and then linked the MIDI data to the harmonium samples. Sad to hear about your lost harmonium, I do often see them at thrift shops, maybe you can find another one!

I'm getting some serious "Where Have the Keys Gone" vibes here. Seriously, this is more of a song to look for keys to than it is to eat donuts to, IMHO. Did anyone, besides me, listen to Sexual-Lobster's music besides me? Oh well. Good stuff anyway. Keep it up.
